One for my mom

I know I don’t say it enough how much I love you

But I hope you see all the signs

When I try to sleep in your arms

or tease you all the time.

I am sure it seems I don’t need your help

But I hope you see all the signs

From my outfits to all the family recipes

or when I call you out of the blue and just stay quiet

I am sure it seems I am very busy and have no time

But I hope you see all the signs

When I ask you when you will come next

and continue to whine

I am sure it seems now that I am a mother

that I know all the ways

But i hope you see all the signs

that I will need you always

There will never come a time when i wont need you mother

and I hope you see all the signs

You loved me from the start of my life

and I will love you till the end of mine
